Sub: Trial Access to IDIS/Web (Iowa Drug Information Service)

Trial access to IDIS/Web (Iowa Drug Information Service) is now available at KMC Health Sciences Library micro site i.e. http://www.maheinfo.edu/lib/index.asp and same can be accessed in intranet environment any where in the MAHE campus, Manipal till 15th October, 2006.

IDIS/Web is a database of index records to articles about drugs and drug therapy in humans taken from over 200 leading medical and pharmaceutical journals. The complete article is also available online (1997 through the current month). This database is designed by Division of Drug Information Service (DDIS), The University of Iowa, USA to retrieve specific information concerning a drug and/or drug treatment of a disease state. Authoritative publications have been selected to provide broad coverage of both general and specialty areas of pharmacy and medicine.

All the faculty members and postgraduate students are hereby requested to make use of this trial access and please send the feedback regarding the IDIS/Web to the undersigned at the earliest.
