The rules and regulations of the library are as follows :

• Bags, and handbags may be left at the property counter provided at the entrance of the library.
• Users are advised not to keep their valuable things in the bag. The library is not responsible for the loss or damage of any valuable things.
• Personal books are not permitted to be brought inside the library.
• Books, magazines, etc. should be used with care and books taken from the shelves for reading should be left on the tables after use and “not” to be replaced on the shelves.
• Sleeping, talking loudly are strictly prohibited in the library.
• Mobile phones are to be switched off or to be kept on silent mode in the library.
• Users are required to vacate the library at designated closing times.
• Eatables and beverages are not permitted inside the library.

The rules and regulations of circulation are as follows :

• The membership cards will be issued for those who are eligible to borrow the books.
• Users can borrow maximum of 2 books at a time and the book should be returned by the due date (14 days of duration) stamped in the book.
• Borrowers must bring the membership card while borrowing books.
• Membership card is not transferable.
• Borrowers are responsible for the damage of books.
• The Annual Membership fee is Rs. 500.
• The Life Membership fee is Rs. 1000.
• Fine of Rs. 1/- will be charged per book/ per day for overdue.
• Borrowers have to return the membership card when they want to discontinue the membership.
• Borrowers must replace the book if lost/ damaged with the latest edition/ books will be charged as per the library rules.
• Reissue of the books can be done only with the presence of the member.
