MIC Library is well stocked with books, journals, magazines and audiovisual materials to meet the information needs of students and faculty of MIC. New books are continuously added in order to keep the library abreast of development in media and communication studies. More than three thousand books donated by the Honorary Director Dr. M V Kamath is an invaluable addition. Library is having a unique collection of Ganghi's work. OPAC is available through the Intranet. So users can search not only MIC library catalogue. They can search the catalogue of other MAHE institutions libraries in the campus.

Library has a separate Audiovisual room with all facilities for film screening and recording the TV programmed etc for the academic work. Library is an institutional member of AMIC (Asian media information and communication center, Singapore and have access to their website.

Library is stretching to an area of 5000 sq. feet with a seating capacity of 100. The fully air conditioned library is WI-FI enabled.

Photocopying and Internet browsing facility is available in the library for students and other users.

University General Library is attached to MIC library.
